Are you feeling overwhelmed by something in your life? Confusion,
depression, loss of hope and suicidal thoughts can all arise when someone
is in crisis.  Regardless of the size of the problem, our help-line assistants
are available to help you assess the problem, sort through the feelings, and
explore possible options and resources.

Talking with someone is the first step in getting the help that you need!
Life presents us with many challenges, some more difficult than others.
Relationship problems, financial worries, depression, loss, job stress and
other problems can be overwhelming. Often people don't know where to
turn or feel embarrassed to ask for help. Crisis Line strives to make help
accessible, safe and available whenever someone needs it.

We hope that through Crisis Line, we can help people to find happier,
healthier lives.  We also hope to decrease the incidence of suicide, drug
and alcohol abuse, family and community violence and other destructive or
desperate behaviors. We believe it helps to talk through problems.  It helps
to know that you're never alone and that there are resources that can help.
Fact: More people die by suicide than by homicide.
