Girls entering grades 3-8 are invited to join us to learn about
friendships, leadership and self-esteem.  Several speakers from
local organizations, including Miss Lynchburg, will be teaching
girls the skills they need to “bloom” into young ladies.  Campers
will also meet new friends, learn to hit a golf ball, and have a
chance to be creative.

The following workshops have already been planned:

Communication Skills taught by the Alliance for Families and Children
Leadership taught by Shirley Dean of Lynchburg City
Healthy Relationships taught by YWCA
Self-Acceptance taught by Miss Lynchburg
Environment taught by Jessica Fagan or Girl Scouts
Self-Respect taught by Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center
Nutrition taught by Centra Health
Self-Esteem taught by the Central Virginia Community Services Board

Camp will be held at Camp Sacajawea in the Boonsboro area.
Friday night will include dinner for the campers and a finale
program for parents at 7 pm.  The camp fee is $45 for registered
Girl Scouts and $55 for non-registered Girl Scouts.  Space is
limited so register by June 6 to guarantee your spot!  Contact
Annie LePere at 434-947-4921 or annie@crisislineofcentralvirginia.
