PowerGirls Day Camp
2010

Come and enjoy the beautiful outdoors while we learn about our personal       
strengths, meet new friends and discover the POWER of working                      
together!  We will explore the beauty around us, create arts and crafts,           
play games and sing songs while learning how to perform as a team.

All girls are welcome to come and experience this exciting week of                   
adventure and fun.  Girls who attend all week will earn the Creative                  
Solutions patch.  Come join us and learn what PowerGirls is all about!

Camp Sacajawea Program Center
2124 Fox Hill Road, Lynchburg VA

Date & Time
June 14-18 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  
(Drop-off: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. / Pickup: 3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.)
Friday, June 18th will include a campfire and dinner for the girls and an evening  
finale from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for parents/guardians.

$45 (registered Girl Scouts)
$57 (non-registered Girl Scouts)

                                Each camper will receive a free T-shirt.                                             
Please be sure to indicate size on the registration form.  
(If no size is marked on registration, camper will receive an adult medium.)

Campers' Ages
Girls entering grades 3-8 in the fall of 2010 may attend as campers.  Girls       
who are entering grade 9 or above may attend as Camp Program                     
Assistants (CPA). CPAs assist leaders in carrying out camp program in the    
units.  Aspiring CPAs must complete an application and attend two (2)            
mandatory trainings provided by the Camp director.

If you are an adult interested in volunteering as a camp staff member,             
please contact the Camp Director.  We provide onsite child care for                 
younger children in our Small Fries group.  Daughters of Volunteers receive  
a 50% discount on the Camp Fee.

Transportation
Transportation is available for campers residing in the City of Lynchburg on  
an as needed basis and space is limited.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
$5.00 of Camp Fee is nonrefundable.  Written refund requests from a   
parent/guardian must be received by June 4 to be considered.  No       
other refund requests will be honored.
